To our patient family,
In an effort to protect our patients as well as our staff, doctors, and the community, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, we have made the decision to limit our services to urgent/emergent medical eye care only. This is effective immediately through the end of April, at which time we will re-evaluate.
Pickups of glasses and contact lenses will be handled on a case by case basis, with respect to maintaining social distancing and the safety of all. Beginning immediately, please call the office when you are in the parking lot so we can bring your materials out to your car, or to unlock the office door to let you in (one at a time) if deemed appropriate.
If you are scheduled for an appointment in the coming weeks, our staff will be calling to reschedule you to a later date if appropriate when we anticipate being back up and running at full strength. However, as has become the new normal with COVID-19, the future is quite uncertain and this is subject to change. We will have minimal staff on hand to answer any questions you may have.
If you are running low on contact lenses or need to have your glasses replaced for any reason your information and concerns will be referred to your doctor and prescriptions may be extended as appropriate. Contact lenses can be shipped directly to you.
Our doctors will continue to be available if you are experiencing an eye emergency such as eye pain, red eyes, sudden vision changes, injuries, and other urgent issues.
